Angela Renae Hastain, born November 9, 1963, in Oakland, California, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a courageous journey at the age of 62.
Angela dedicated more than 30 years of her professional life to Oroville Hospital, where she served with distinction as Director of Hospital Information Systems. Her commitment, expertise, and passion for excellence touched countless colleagues and improved patient care through her innovative leadership.
A woman of many talents and deep interests, Angela found joy in quilting and painting, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her artistic spirit. She loved the outdoors, embracing camping trips and quadding adventures with enthusiasm. Always eager to try new things, she approached life with a sense of wonder and a willingness to explore, making every experience an opportunity for growth and connection.
Angela was married to her beloved husband, Paul Hastain, for over 30 years until his passing in 2018. Their partnership was one of enduring love and shared adventures.
She is survived by her devoted mother, Patsy Bodkin; her three cherished children, Jared Hastain, Amber Hastain, and Breann Workman; her sister Renee Bodkin, and a circle of family and friends who were blessed by her presence.
Angela loved quietly but so deeply. She was generous, courageous, and lived every aspect of her life with passion and dedication. Her favorite Bible verse guided her heart: "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33). In her memory, may we all strive to live with the same quiet strength, generosity, and faith.
A celebration of life will be held at The Fathers House Church (2833 Fort Wayne Street.) on March 28, 2026 at 1:00 pm Arrangements are under the care of her family.
Angela will be remembered for the warmth she brought to every room, the beauty she created with her hands, and the profound love she shared without fanfare. She leaves behind a legacy of quiet courage, deep faith, and passionate living that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
